You already know that Brew: The Museum of Beer will tell the 10,000-year-old story of beer, from the origins of civilization through the rise of craft beer. Plans for Brew have always included covering the story of beer in our region and through the Commonwealth. Now, Brew is beginning work on the Story of Beer in Pennsylvania, a story that spans more than 300 years of brewing, culminating in more than 300 breweries thriving in the Commonwealth today.
The Story of Beer in Pennsylvania will be a tourist attraction on its own and will also serve as a step toward the realization of a comprehensive museum of beer, a first-day destination attraction, that will redefine beer tourism.
To get a sneak peak at the Story of Beer in Pennsylvania, check out our promotional video. The video was developed by filmmaker and master brewer, Paul Young.
You can also see a brief synopsis of the Story of Beer in Pennsylvania on our website, beginning with William Penn’s use of beer as a diplomatic tool in negotiations with Native Americans.
